Today we spent morning in Budapest and afternoon in Vienna. Since Vienna is 150 miles from Budapest we had planned to spend time in Budapest and leave after lunch. The city certainly is very impressive. Last night we enjoyed the cool evening stroll to the famous “Hero’s Square”. This morning we got up early and had a light breakfast at a local cafe. Walk alongside river Danube was superb. The chain bridge over the river danube gave us an excellent view of the river. Crossing the bridge we arrived at the Buda side of Budapest. Walking up the hill we arrived at the Buda Castle. The panoramic view of the city from this high place was perfect enhanced by clear blue sky and gentle breeze on this sunny morning.
